Lowering Spring Installation

Hey everyone, so I've been mostly a lurker on this website just replying to a couple of threads here and there. I just recently purchased some lowering springs for my 2011 G37x sedan and was wondering if anyone was in the Maryland area that could recommend a shop that would install them for cheap. I have been asking around to a couple of different shops and they have quoted me some ridiculous prices. I considered installing them myself because i am a huge supporter of DIY project, but i just don't feel comfortable nor do i have the tools...

Thanks in advance for any help!

I bought a set of Megan Racing springs. I know they are not the best option for these cars but i dont plan on keeping them on for too long.

If you are mechanically inclined and can get a friend to loan tools (or better yet, have a mechanically inclined friend w/ tools that can help), it's not too hard a DIY. You can take the front shocks out and take them to a shop and let them compress & remove the old springs and put the new springs on your shocks. That's the one part of the DIY that is best left to professionals if you haven't used spring compressors.

There are some good youtube clips on the install, check them out and see if it's something that's in your wheelhouse.

This project is definitely something that i don't mind taking on myself, especially if i have some help. I was hoping that maybe a forum member that is in the Maryland, Virginia area might have the skills and tools needed to help me out. I don't mind paying a forum member.

Might make a post in the regional folders asking for help, maybe someone reasonably close can lend a hand.
