changed shocks

I changed rear Shocks out for KYB. I thought these were OEM equivalent.
They are just a little stiffer.

Next weekend Front sturts. I am waiting for new bellows.

I am finding it tough to find maintenance and repair spec.

I have used a link to the factory service manual but find it hard to find things.

I need a radar magic decoder ring for those two digit section codes.

Download the table of contents first. It lists all the codes

KYB generally advertises the GR2 as being ~10% stiffer than OEM, which sounds perfect to me. I wish they were available for the X models...i wish anything was available for the X model

They do make them for the AWD under the Excel G name...I put a set on a while back

from KYB's website:

"We apologize that this is a bit confusing. Both products are identical, except for the product name and paint color. KYB sells products throughout the world. Some part numbers fit vehicles from various countries that share the same chassis platform but, have different nameplates. At one time there were several KYB brand names, but we are now moving toward one name and color. So in the future all new part numbers will be branded as Excel-G and have black paint."

they have them listed for 09-10 model years. Is there something different in 11-13?

I can't help you with your problem but I would love to hear your review once you have the struts replaced as well. I am happy with the factory set up of the Sport coupe but will need to replace shocks/struts in a year or two and would like a good OEM replacement.
