Rear sway bar install

Is it possible to install rear sway without dropping exhaust? I have a full custom exhaust and I don't want to have to drop the whole thing. Thanks.

Coupe, Sedan? I think Coupe guys were able to slide it out pretty easily. When I did my sedan though, it was easier to drop the muffler section to slide the new RSB in. Also gives you a bit more room to maneuver.

How'd you do it? Did you have to take the rear wheels off?

I don't think so. If I recall the wheels (front & rear) were both on ramps. I remember it involved lots of wiggling to get it in place.

Coupe owner here: no need to remove exhaust. No need to remove wheels.

I installed it with my car up on ramps. Kind of tricky at points, but very doable. Think of it as a puzzle to solve.

Depends on how creative you are. I am sure it could be done, but while I was doing my rear bar (sedan) I figured it would just be easier to follow the tried and true process.

From what I remember, it would be doable with a wheel(s) off. While looking up at it I decided to just lower the exhaust. But mine has flex joints in front of the exhaust cross member thing... so dropped that, unhooked hangers and just swung the plumbing out of the way. From there, straight forward removal and reinstall.

Good luck and post up your results
