I had greasable end-links on my last car and never had the problem. I'd just hit the zerks with penetrating oil before touching them wipe them clean after and use caps to keep them covered inbetween
Wow! How? I unbolted mine and tried every which way, or so I thought. Ultimately, I just dropped the mufflers at the hangers and pulled it out.
Honestly I have no idea. Me and a buddy wiggled around the new and old bars until we were able to fit it. We were determined to not have to drop the mufflers.
