I am getting ready to install these on my coupe. Did you need a spring compressor? I saw in another thread where 4DRZ had to use a spring compressor to remove the stock front top hats. The videos/tutorials I've seen didn't mention one, however they were of different coilover brands.
EDIT: Where can I buy replacement front top hats? One of my bolts got f'ed during my strut brace install somehow...

I think I'm just going to end up buying a used strut and pulling of the strut mount. Much cheaper than buying a new one. Plus it would bug me having one new and one old mount so I would probably end up buying 2 lol, which would be almost $200. So if I can get this used strut for about $50 then I'll be set (as long as the threads are in good shape). Another idea, maybe the bolts are replaceable?

No issues here as the main goal is to reuse the stock top mount, unless there is some specific problem you've heard people having.

Yeah the only problem I could think of people having would be if the stock front top mounts had stripped bolts or the rubber bushing/insulator was bad. Should be a direct swap and you'll reuse the stock gasket as well.
