The upper contol arm to spindle bolt cracked when trying to loosen this, the whole nut sheared off right where it meets the contol arm.
​​ My problem is its the only car and I have to get to the Nissan dealership 10 miles away to pick up a new one. I can slide the bolt through but it won't have a nut on it. It doesn't seems that the contol arm will pop out once the weight of the vehicle is down...anyone think I can make it to the dealership like this??? This sucks.

I wouldn't chance it. Just because the weight is on it doesn't mean it can't come off. I once had a spindle come off the lower ball joint because in a matter of confusion my dad thought I tightened the bolt and I thought he tightened it.

I ended up destroying an axle and bending a strut because of it.

 

Uber it sir or have a friend take you, not worth the risk of your life or anyone elses

 

I found a machine bolt that fits..it's only a half inch longer but should get me there without any problems.
