scraping issue
scraping issue
I recently bought eibachs from Kenny and I absolutely love the new look.
One small issue, I seem to be scraping when I pull up to my parking spot. When I took the car to alignment earlier today, it appears that I am not scraping my engine splash guard but rather the muffler. The drop isn't drastic at all.
Exhaust isn't leaking but (a) do I live with this issue and slowly pull up and let it scrape? or (b) go back to OEM springs or
Are there any significant impact from this? I have not noticed anything.

My Y-pipe looked 10x worse and it still doesn't leak (amazed). Just take any steep drives at a good angle rather than straight at it and take it real easy over speed bumps, going over those at an angle helps too. You'll get much better at avoiding scrapes as you get time w/ your lowered G. Don't get too worked up over it. I'll see if I can find some pics of mine on the site, you'll be floored
True story. I have a similarly steep driveway and under normal circumstances, even with a full tank of gas, I would not scrape even though I'm lowered. I was hosting a Russian Journalist late this summer and she was very close to me in height (6'3") and I'd scrape something fierce with her in the car. Moral of the story, don't let Russian journalists ride shotgun. Just saying.
Blnewt, your exhaust looks horrible! If I had the means, I'd buy you all the Argotsa cup suspension so it wouldn't be an issue.
I'd consider rounding off the sharp edge on the driveway where the interference occurs.

I have the same issue. My car won't go into my driveway if I try. I have to get the front of the car onto the driveway and then pull a hard left and get it in. If I don't my bumper gets stuck and my wheels push again the fender. So try going into the driveway at an angle, so come in from the side and pull a hard left.
Thanks all. It gives me some comfort knowing it's not a big deal and these little issues are expected when riding the 'lowered' life
A lot of the bumps that I felt with OEM feel more dramatic and loud with being lowered. I am still getting used to it to be honest.

Does anyone with aftermarket exhaust still have a scraping issue?
