I've been looking at SS brake line options out there and have settled on an OEM style fit, i.e. Goodridge. The thing I cannot verify anywhere is if the Goodridge G-Stops come with a protective coating around the SS sheath. There are several options that do have it like the Z1 branded lines and the StopTech lines. The Goodridge Phantom line are also confirmed to have this the added protection, but are relatively expensive.

Can someone who owns the G-Stops confirm if the braided stainless steel lines are exposed or protected?
