Finally Solved Brake Judder... I hope!

I've had a pretty consistent brake judder since I purchased my G37S back in 2012. I think I finally solved it. I replaced the hubs, rotors and pads on both side in one swoop.

I replaced both sides with Timken hubs, Centric premium rotors and Akebono ProAct pads.

When I replaced the hubs I took extra time to make sure the mounting service of the hubs were perfect and got a runout of 0 on the hubs. Then I mounted the rotors and got them to 0 runout as well. I was never able to get a 0 runout on rotors mounted to my old hubs no matter how hard I tried. I always got under the maximum runout, but never 0. I haven't had any judder in almost 10,000 miles. Which is truly a record for me, I usually get it back less than 1,000 miles after changing the rotors/pads.

So if anyone else is dealing with a persistent judder at highway speed try replacing the hubs. Make sure to clean up the contact surface on the car and heat shields.

Good to know about the Timken hubs, that's the one thing that typically isn't addressed for those that can't find a cure for the recurring judder.
I always take my time to get rid of any buildup between the hub/rotor and rotor/wheel mating surfaces.
What did the hub replacement cost?

Cost break down for everything:
Timken Hubs (2): HA590376: $189.60 (RockAuto.com)
Centric Rotors (2) 12042100: $133.58 (RockAuto.com)
Akebono ProAct (1) ACT1346: 54.85 (Amazon.com)
Smooth running brakes at highway speeds: Priceless

At the time I had a 10% off RockAuto.com coupon. Search around you can usually find them online.

Honestly, the Timken hubs looked to be better quality then my OEM hubs.
