Rear Shock Adjuster Extenders on a Coupe?
Has anyone here with a Coup on coilovers, installed adjustment extenders on the rear shocks?
I've seen them on the sedans and have a set for my FA500s but it looks like the shock mounts are directly below the rear window. seems like there is like an inch between the rear deck and the rear window where I'd have to drill through. Not sure actually where the shock dome is.
If you have them installed, pix would be really helpful so I can see where they end up before I start drilling.

Yes, while standing there with my wheel off, shock removed and trunk open, the idea had cross my mind.
Srsly, it looks like it can come out an inch from the glass. I don't want to drill a hole just to find out it come through to an inaccessible place or worse, directly into my rear window.
I was hoping someone here with a coupe has done this already.
I looked into it and took a bunch of stuff out to try and figure out where the extenders, if they're on top, would poke out. Like you, it appears they'd be in a really tight spot between the rear glass and rear ledge, close to the speakers.
I've debated drilling a hole for my Aragostas but I need to see if I can just rotate them around 180 degrees. I could drill a hole and run the adjusters into the trunk. Might be a neat setup. The way the adjuster sits now, it angles slightly towards the front of the car.
It'd be a pain, but wondering if Fortune can do a side adjustment **** instead of one up top. Yes, you'd have to send them back. Alternatively, you may need to remove all the plastics on the rear ledge just to see what's where. There should be a gap between the top of the strut mount and the plastic above. Probably looks very similar to a 370z upper mount in the rear.

Here's the 370Z upper mount. If the top sits just below the plastic, the entire adjuster may poke up. It'll be a pain but I'd take the plastics out and check thoroughly. Take lots of pics.

Thanks AF.
Looks unlikely I'll get the adjusters into the car or the trunk.
IIRC the dome felt like metal and I'm still not sure what's directly above it or where it is.
I'll probably end up removing the trunk liners & rear deck to find out.
It does not look likely at the moment.

I'm not sure about the coupe but I have mine going straight up behind the seat. But my extenders are so long if I don't tuck them, they extend all the way up the the rear glass. I scratched up my tints pretty bad but now I have them tucked away. How's do u like the ride so far? What did u end up using for the settings? I'm currently 12 clicks in the rear and 10 clicks from full soft in the front.

I'm running 10/10 right now feels good, maybe bump up the rear to stem the squat.
The coupe rear glass is sloped too shallow and the apparent exit is too close to the base From what I can see now. I'll Have to dismantle to confirm.
