Tien s springs on an awd coupe?
I've done some research on this topic but would like to hear some feedback from currently active members who have these springs on their awd cars. I know they sit fairly low and might sit even lower on the X model since our cars are heavier.

Well I don't have awd but these springs sit low! If you live in a place where the roads are okay then these will be more than fine. But if you live in area where you need to slow down for bumps, or manholes I wouldn't suggest these springs. I have to sometimes go sideways over some speed bumps but that's rare. Also my undershield grazes my driveway every time I leave my house. Given it touches so lightly it doesn't do any damage but I can hear it. Also I've had a couple people ask me if I was on coils.

Zilla I'm running the Eibach Pro Kit currently but there's like an inch gap between tire and fender in the rear that kills me everytime I look at it lol and I was planning on coils but for a fraction of the cost I might get these instead till I'm ready to pull the trigger on some Broadway Static Coilovers. All custom made pee order to spec and preference. They are pretty expensive so I figured in the mean time let me switch up the springs and get rid of that gap lol

Not really sure haven't done enough research to know everything but from the limited reviews I've read they are some of the best out there. Also different since not to many people have them which is a good thing in uniqueness but possibly a bad thing as well lol
For the time being I'm thinking a lower drop with just these tien s springs but want to get an idea from at least one awd coupe owner running these on their car.

After reading up more on them thanks to the links you PM'ed me my choice is definitely between Fortune and Stance. I don't wanna slam my car as low as the Broadway ones are meant for lol I'll probably settle with the Tien springs or deal with the Eibach kit till your Fortunes come in and you install them and have a chance to critique them

Yeah, after reading a couple of more threads I get the impression that It is a shortened shock body and a short spring for a lower but fully functional and properly valved coilover.
It seems to be targeted (mostly?) at BMW and European cars.

Hey Kenny. I don't have an X model but I do run tien s techs on my coupe and they sit pretty low. I used to have a Ts replica lip on my sport bumper and it ripped off because the car sat so low. My driveway is at an incline and I scrape my exhaust here and there. My flex pipes were also scraped open I had to replace them but other then that I love the way the car sits. I have 18s (journey) and the wheels tuck a tiny bit. I've had them on stock shocks for about 15k miles and I have no complaints the shocks had around 60k prior to putting these on. Once the shocks blow I will be buying some KW coils
anyway I have no complaints on these springs, as far as ride quality it's pretty close to stock just a little stiffer.

But I think you already knew this. I have the S-Techs and the fronts are perfect in my opinion but the rear is tucking tire and looks very uneven. I actually bought a spare set of Tanabe rear springs to raise the rear a tad, it should sit perfectly. I'm calling it the "Teinabe setup".
I'm not sure how many miles are on your struts, but the S techs will expedite the wear on them. What about getting a set of Tein Basis, selling your Eibachs? At least, you won't have to worry about the struts blowing at the back of your mind.
