Hey man, I had Tein S techs on my old coupe and I was not a fan of them. The ride was pretty rough and jarring. The front drop was ideal but the rear sagged and looked uneven, just as someone here stated.

I do have a few pics, sorry they aren't the greatest. They were taken 4 years ago on an iPhone 5 lol.

Stock wheels:

MRR 19's with i believe, 245/35or40 all around. Don't quote me though

Whoa your rears are super saggy and your front are taller than my S-techs. weird... I love my ride, I have had numerous compliments from non-car people saying my car rides very smooth like a luxury car. I didn't notice ANY difference in the ride from Sport springs to these. Maybe your struts are worn?

I have to agree with Kris, did you get fake Tein's or something? That looks crazy! Kenny if you get these I highly recommend you run energy spring isolators in the rear to prevent sag. I will say though the ride did get worse, it does take away from the luxury but it isn't too bad to the point where I want to sell them. It's only bad when I hit bumps, if it's a flat road it feels normal.

I had less than 10k miles on the car before I put the springs on so I don't think it would have been from worn struts. I went into it expected a slightly more harsh ride but it personally did not like it. As you said though, on flat roads it was fine, it wasn't like "stiff honda civic bouncing" but over bumps it sounded pretty harsh and rough.

It totally took away the luxury feel like Nick said. I eventually took them off and got BC coils and those were fine. I don't think I purchased fake Tein's since I ordered them from Vividracing, I believe. It's been a while

Yeah, I don't know, weird. I have a spare set of Tanabe rear springs I'm swapping out so I'll have Sport, Tein and Tanabe at the house to play with, I'll find something I like sooner or later lol.

It's only bad when I hit bumps is almost like saying they're fine as long as you don't use them.

I'm sure they're better than that, no?

Exactly why I got rid of them. They just weren't for me I guess

All of the insight is HIGHLY appreciated everybody! Thank you so much. I've decided Tein S springs aren't for me.

With that being said...

Anyone with an X model have any experience with the H&R springs? They also seem to have the lower drop with springs that I'd like to have. From the research I've managed to do and different thread I've read most were fairly positive but yet again I've run into the same issue and haven't found any reviews of any awd guys out there who have tried them on their G's!
