Thanks alot everybody for all the input! But I'm surprised nobody so far with an X model coupe as tried these lol The reason I was the Tien S is bc they sit lower then the Eibachs and it'll give me a reason to pull the trigger on the front camber kit as well prior to going coils in the future. I want the car looking nice for the August meet but can't afford spending the extra cash on coilovers without the wifey getting upset

Tein doesn't make any AWD coilovers

I installed energy spring isolators in the rear on my S Techs and it raised it up a good amount but now the front is lower than the rear. Although I accept this over the rear being lower than the front.

Could also look into H&Rs these are even lower than S Techs

There is one spring set that is sold for all G models (except the vert) and that is the Tanabe 210 springs, this would give you a good idea what the S Techs would do on an X. The Tanabe springs tend to sag in the back on the AWDs so you could expect the S Techs would be a bit lower in the back vs. a RWD coupe, and if the S Techs on a RWD are already lower in back (like Kris9884 mentioned) then they should be even lower on the X coupe (basing this on what the Tanabes do)
Hope that makes sense.

I have B&G S2 springs which drop the same as STechs in front, but a bit higher in back, these are collecting dust so I may be able to get you a nice deal.

Here's some old pics of them on my Sedan (way back in the day,. lol)

Not sure if they are compatible with the X but I'll let ya borrow the RWD rear S-techs to see if you like them and we can just split shipping or something lol. I'm swapping the rears out this weekend, it's so easy I could really do it on a lunch break but I'm lazy lol

No sprig compressor needed?
Just raise the car and unbolt the LCA at the knuckle?

PM sent Kris!

And Brad those looked great on your sedan man! My only issue is I'm mainly doing this to get my rear about an inch lower then it sits now and those looks to be about the same rear height as my Eibachs but that front looks slammed! Lol

You got it, just have a jack under the spring cup, remove the bolt, lower the jack, trade out springs, jack the cup back up and put the bolt back in. MAYBE 10 minutes per side. I was ecstatic when I took the wheel off and saw it for the first time.

Wait, I have to take the WHOLE wheel off?
Forget it.

First I've heard of these guys. I sent them an email last night and they responded this morning. Once I can get some questions answered, they'll be added to the RWD coil-over thread. Since I'm sort of in the market, I also asked for a quote. This'll be interesting.

I want coilovers too. but i also need a front camber kit so i don't chew up my tires. So damn expensive to lower a G.

Good luck, i can't wait to see what you end up with.

I can't believe I can't find a single thread with an awd X coupe running Tein S springs or even H&R springs. Yet again another regret of having an X model! (Except in the winter of course lol)
