Most of the listed coil-overs are designed to fit the Z34 370Z. The G37 chassis uses the same suspension components so vendors often cross-list the Z devices to the G, often with no change in spring rate. Stock G springs are ~1kg/mm stiffer than stock Z springs due to weight difference.
Per post on MyG37.com, coupe OE rates are 8.5k/8.2k. Don’t know if these rates are for base coupe or Sport. Front/rear ratio is thus 1.037:1. IPL coupe OE rates are 9.5k/8.2k, so ratio is 1.11:1 See note 2 for explanation of front: rear ratio significance.
[1]Separate height adjustment is better. Without it, changing spring perch height affects spring preload and damper rod position in the shock body, potentially taking it out of normal damping range.
[2] Front/rear frequency ratio should not be 1:1 as this promotes a hobbyhorse effect when hitting bumps. Don’t have frequency data so have to infer from spring rates.
[3] Spring diameter is helpful if you wish to change spring rates.
[4] Aluminum bodies to reduce weight. Half this weight is sprung, the other half unsprung.
[5] Heaviest part of shock is attached to vehicle instead of hub. Unsprung weight is the same for calculation purposes but mass accelerated over bumps is lower.

- I don't think AST is Japanese product?
- I understand AST and Moton merged, or AST bought Moton, whichever it is.
- Did you mean that Japanese Aragosta dampers can be rebuilt by AST USA, since they share some AST internals?
