steering wheel shakes when i take off from a stop

steering wheel shakes when i take off from a stop

anyone know what this could be? i get a steering wheel wobble when i take off from a complete stop. not a hard launch just a gentle take off... i am lowered on bc coilovers and im running neg camber not sure what the problem is....

have you hit anything? if you haven't...then the wobble's from your coilovers. odd though, since you're rwd. could be a bad hub or axle too though. too much strain on the arms maybe? sorry...not much help!

Mine used to wobble at low speeds,jiggling to and fro. And the culprit for this was my tires. Have you checked yours? I was able to determine it by researching on car repair manuals and there I found out "to move the tires to the rear(one at a time)" so you could find out if the tires are causing the steering wheel to wobble. try to search for "Road force balancing".

tires are brand new and they were swapped out for another new set to make sure that wasnt the culprit. i havent hit anything and im AWD not rwd

It could be drive-train vibrations transmitting to your steering wheel.

its apparently the u joint on the driveshaft, infinity is checking out while there doing my transmission

well infiniti said its the valve body in the transmission doing it, not the drive shaft joint.... so we will see how it goes from there

had the valve bodies replaced and the transmission rocks now! but unfortunately it did not change the wobble!
