Vert Shocks/Struts

Just found out my G37 Convertible's shocks and struts are leaking (all 4) and was quoted a price of $1500 to replace them with OEM. So, I began researching to save a few $ and it seems like the only option is the OEM (which seems to not have a manufacturer name attached to it) and KYB which is more than the OEM. And the KYB site doesn't even have a Convertible option on the drop down. I was told this by the repair shop.

The really frustrating thing is every site I go to (except the Infiniti OEM site) doesn't have the option to even select a G37 Convertible. It's just sedan or coupe. I thought the coupe would be the same as the convertible but the part #s are different on the Infiniti site.

I have done lots of searching on this and other forums but can't seem to find any info.

Any advice?

BC coilovers are $850-950 new. They are one of only two brands that make coilovers for our convertibles.

Think that's about what the K sports are as well.
Reddi, are the BCs a true coilover rear setup or the OEM separate spring?
The KSports are the true coilover setup FWIW.

Thanks. On Amazon those look like struts in the front just with the springs already on them and shocks in the rear with separate springs. Thats what it looks like in the photo anyway. If so, that's exactly what i'm looking for. I can intall them myself without worrying about compressing the spring. I can just leave the original one on in the back.

are there no aftermarket struts option for our cars? Don't feel like blowing 1g on suspension at the moment.

Brother I actually don't know. I usually do my research after I have the money to spend on the mod.

I do know enough to listen to your advice by now however. So the K sports it will be.
