Question for people who had their brakes replaced by dealership.
Hello guys, so I took my car in dealer to have them checked out about my brakes squealing problem and was fortunate that they replaced it for free without giving me excuses. Since then the sqeauling had stopped. I tested it by reversing and going forward slowly and usually that would scream. My question is, should I expect this sqeauling to come back around in the near future? Or rest assured this problem has finally ended for me? Not sure which pads they replaced it with but most likely those Akebonos that came with the car. Thanks in advance!
I live in Southern California, but I get up to go to work at 5am and it's usually about 45-50 degrees at that time. It screams only when it's cold but gets quieter once it's warmed up.

Those brake pads and rotors were still on my vehicle when I traded it in at 171796 miles
I never had a squealing problem.
Is your vehicle garaged or left outside?
Mine is garaged
Currently have 65k miles on my current 2012 G37S with no problems

Had my rears done a few months back along with the resurfacing rotors, it stopped for a few months but squeal like crazy now. So last week I bought new Akebono brake pads and installed it in the front and they still scream like crazy. I had the same issue with my Altima coupe before trading it in.. and sadly it has now even got to my Q50 and it has less than 20k miles and they're screaming on reverse. Both are garage kept.
i asked about the temperature because i replaced the rotors and pads on my other car in the spring, and now that the cold weather is here, they squeal like a stuck pig the first few times they are applied, then they are quiet once warmed up. they didn't make noise until it got really cold here.
i never had that happen before, but i'll deal with that minor annoyance because the pads bite good and are low-dust compared to the stock ones.
