what kind of Suspension should i go with
what kind of Suspension should i go with
Just bought 20in stance rc8's need a lil more of a agressive drop than my factory S Suspension. .. i was thibkin h&r sport springs or tien stech any suggestions? I also heard swift was the best for g coupes but im open to all opinions and help please
Depends on what look you are going for. A lot of guys run coils because of adjustability...if you want static (which it sounds like you do) go with what you mentioned or Eibach. Eibach is a great quality product and I plan to run them on my coupe. I can't speak on the other sets...i'll let someone else chime in on those. Got any pics of the wheels? Are they on the car already?
Swift Sports seem to be trending as the most popular springs ATM. Eibach is also popular. Swift sport is what I have on my car and the handling feel is great as well as ride quality being only slightly firmer than stock.
Coilovers are more expensive but tend to offer the better combination of ride and handling and, as mentioned, are adjustable.
If you do a quick search you will find all sorts of varying input usually based upon personal preference.

I went Tein S techs but the rears were eating my tires even with rear camber kits bolts. I chose to leave the S techs on the front and went with eibach rears, I love the rake look I have and the tires do not wear in the rears.
I have eibach springs and like them. Might do coilovers eventually but at least for me the springs didn't require any additional hardware like camber arms etc. only issue it that they were a lot to install.

Once those springs settle a bit, you may reconsider the camber arms. I tried going w/o camber arms on Tanabe back in 2009. The inside of my tires paid for it later (well I paid for it).
Coilovers of course are the best. You can go with the Tein basic. I'm thinking about eibach just because it's known for quality and ride, not too aggressive. Streets and driveways out here in Cali are ridiculous.
