2010 G37 Journey front end clunk
2010 G37 Journey front end clunk
I have a clunk at slow speed, when going over bumps. It's coming from right front. While on the car was on the ground, I grabbed the top of the tire and yanked it towards me, which reproduced the clunk.
The car is now at a dealer getting something else looked. I was advised that my end links need to be replaced. The test that I performed would rather indicate upper control arm being the issue, wouldn't it?
I don't think I would be able to reproduce the noise by performing the same test, if the end links were bad.
Can someone confirm?

I'm suspecting front control arm. I too have the same mild, clunk when going slowly over a bump even while turning.
Please let us know what you find and it may confirm what I hear too. Thx!

I'll probably test the end links by taking them off the control arm, taping them to the sway bar and going for a ride.If the clunk is gone than it is the end links, otherwise, it's something else.
I just have to wait for it to warm up outside again...
