BC BR Type Coilovers + '12 G37xS sedan

I purchased these coilovers from ConceptZPerformance for $995 shipped. The coilovers themselves are very well build and come with 4mm of preload out of the box. The installation was very easy and can be done within an afternoon. They come with 10k up front and 8K springs in the rear that translates almost to on rails handling, its incredible. On Chicago roads the ride quality is smooth similar to M and AMG cars only harsh over very rough pavement it becomes unconformable (the damper setting to 10 clicks from soft). The car is lowered to 1 finger gap and rarely scrape only have once on a very high speed bump. The toe and caster were all corrected by the dealer to factory spec but the camber, however, couldn't be, it is -2.1 degrees front and rear; tires are evenly wearing 300 miles later. The springs did settle a bit but a very small amount. Overall I highly recommend these coilovers, they perform great while still maintaining ride quality. Happy driving

**4,000 mile update***
These coilovers still perform and feel great. They settled a very small amount almost not noticeable. Still only makes noise on the right bump ~1% chance of that happening, other than that they very quite. Tires still wearing evenly.

Here a photo, i will take better shots on the weekend.

Glad you're happy w/ the product, if you don't mind post a copy in this folder too, along w/ updates as time goes on.

I assume you bought camber arms for the front since the caster isn't adjustable on the OEM arms.
G looks nice!

No problem post that there. Actually I didn't have to it sits -2.1 degrees on the OEM arms. I plan on getting in the future however. Thanks

You stated that the dealer adjusted your caster to factory spec, caster is set from the factory as the OEM camber arms have no caster adjustment. Your caster is probably a bit more positive, but that's not a bad thing.
Thanks for posting the review in the review folder too

Good to hear that your initial impression is positive with them. Usually there are noise complains so many check back in after you put a few k miles.

Hah, and my BC told me my top hats were worn out. You got a brand new set and you have that noise.

You sure you have that thin gasket on top of the rear strut?

Yeah I can remember they do and they were brand new. It rarely happens so I don't worry about

It's crazy to think that BC has not worked out the clunking issues yet. I had Tanabe coilovers on my coupe and never had any noise. Thanks for the review and feedback. I'm wondering if the Swift springs upgrade will get rid of any of the jarring ride over hard bumps. Did you consider that?

Honestly I don't think it's the springs themselves my best guess is when you hit a huge bump the pillow tops compress to the point of metal to metal contact. In the front, however, it doesn't make a sound even when I hit large bump at highway speeds this past weekend.

Did you order them with rear pillowballs or rubber mounts?
This problem is very common on this car as well as the G35 and 350z models.
