Squeak and rattle

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if someone here could help me with identifying the sources for noises for me. I have a 2009 g37x coupe and I bought it this past winter. Since the weather has warmed up in the last few weeks I hear a squeaking noise in the front mostly at really low speeds and almost like a rattling sound from the back and mostly at low speeds.

These noises appear only when the temperatures are high and dry above 22c.No noises when it's cooler and wet outside. Not sure if it's the sway bars, sway bar bushings or links. I personally don’t think it's the links.

Any ideas or anyone familiar with this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I had an annoying squeak that i THOUGHT was coming from my rear camber arms. Turned out it was my driver side exhaust hanger. I was able to duplicate the sound by getting under the car and moving the exhaust. Might be worth jacking the car put and seeing if you can duplicate the sound by moving different components.

It was both left upper and lower control arms plus both rear links. The noise is gone!

It was aggravating! It took me several trips to the shop to finally diagnose it. There wasn't much play in the control arms which made it difficult to find out. I took it to 3 different shops and 2 said could be control arms ,then took it to the dealer see what they think ,they said the same thing. I finally gave the go ahead to my regular shop and it's been 4 days since they reolaced them and so far so good. It would have cost more at the dealer. Start by looking at control arms and see where that takes you.

Good luck! It's pure annoyance

I should say that I greased up the bushings and even the swaybar but nothing helped. That's why I decided to change both control arms.

Just curious, how many miles do you have on your G? Where did you buy the replacement bushings or A-Arm? I appreciate the input

99k on it and I replaced the whole upper and lower arm completely. The shop ordered OEM from the dealer.
