Question Rear CO Springs Only - Is that feasible?

When paired with aftermarket springs, the RWD G Sedan has a droopy rear bum more often than not. So I was thinking... Is there any reason why we couldn't install the adjustable height rear springs off a CO kit? Just the adjustable-height rear springs... not adjustable dampers, and not front coil-overs.

Right? Wrong? Dumb as a box of rocks?

I've got the OEM Sport Shocks on a 2011 G37S Sedan 6MT, matched with Swift Lowering Springs, and I'm trying to dial in a rear height that's better than what I've had for the past year. I tried 5/8" spacers against the top-hats (customized to fit) from Energy Suspension. And while that's better, I'm also thinking of trying the 3/8" versions.

Then I got to thinking about this idea. Anyone?

I would try the 3/8" version and see where that takes you. It'd be way cheaper than buying the adjustable height rear spring perches. I don't even know for sure that they're sold individually outside of a full CO kit.

First I need to get the 3/8" versions in my hands, and see how much material there is to play with. If beveling the inner edge compromises the bushing too much, then that option is out...

...at which point I've another option, which is to shave 1/4" off the flat of the top seats. They're very thick, and could easily loose a little bit of material.

Yet another consideration is getting the car aligned, and intentionally asking the shop for >2* negative camber.

And still another option is to simply leave well enough alone and be done with it. Honestly, it's much better looking having even gap and a gentle poke than it is being nearly flush but droopy. I've not taken pictures of it yet with the 5/8" bushings installed, but I will soon enough.
