Rotor Pad Question for new Akebono big brake kit install

Hey Guys,

I've just found a local akebono big brake kit at a scrapyard for my 2010 g37x coupe. The rotors and pads on all 4 wheels both look rusted and need replacing. Calipers though look good.

What do you guys recommend for rotors and pads, not looking for too much dust, not doing any racing, rather everyday driving. Not looking to spend a fortune either, just want something that looks nice and clean, doesn't squeak and has value for the money.

I've been reading through other threads, just not sure what is compatible with akebono. Thanks!

Check this thread, and if you want to upgrade to Centric premium rotors just scroll the rockauto catalog. The Centric C-teks are the basic rotors (about like OEM) the premium have zinc coating and better venting.
The Posi Quiet ceramic pads are a low dust decent daily driver pad. If you need any new clips & pins just order a front & rear hardware kit from them too, they're about $6 each.

Thanks. I have a local guy selling carbon / graphite pads. Any experiences and thoughts on those with the BBK? They seem to only be 5$ more than the ceramic pads.

Do you have a brand/model # for the pads? There's a lot of no-name pads out there that would be a crapshoot as far as quality/longevity/performance.
