Rear brake recommendations for g37x

Just got my first oil change and tire rotation on the Infiniti g37x this past weekend. My rear pads are at 3mm so I need to change them (have 33k on the car). Any recommendations for the best pads? OEM or after market? I want the same bite as OEM. Thinking of buying and having indy shop install as dealer wants 280 to replace and resurface roaters and replace brake linings.

You cant go wrong with stoptech post quiet, project mu, or hawk street pads.

I put Centric Premium rotors and Hawk pads on my parents' 2009 G37x and they have worked out great and held up VERY well through MA winters.

If you have any mechanical ability, this is a $$$ saving DIY project!

Before you get ahead of yourself, I'd just verify that 3mm measurement myself if I were you. Often the oil change/tire service guys will get a little nearsighted when it comes to making those measurements. Lots of folks get talked into swapping out pads with significant service life left in them.

Thanks everyone. Ended up replacing the rears anyway with Akebono ProAct Ceramic pads for $40 bucks plus $100 to install at a local shop. Happy to have saved the additional $140 the dealer would have charged and will probably go the same route with the fronts when the time comes.

I had no idea it cost so much to install pads.
Is that a common price? Did they do other things like turn the rotors?

Have to call around, price varies a lot from dealer to dealer unfortunately, and Infiniti is almost always more than going to a Nissan dealer for the same service.
