Question Help: Sound coming from the front

Hey forum,

So the past week or two I've been noticing a noise coming from the front left side while drive. It comes when going over bumps or taking a turn etc. I'm thinking it's due to the weather change here in Toronto. And taking a guess its the shock.

The car has only been driven 67,000 kms its an 08 coupe.

What do you guys think it might be? And how much does a new set of shocks cost?

We all can try and help though need to be more specific on what the G is doing or sounding Like? Lowered, stock, type of brakes, any info helps other than making noise.. the variables are many...

thanks!

Everything is stock currently. And the sounds comes on literally every bump, its a subtle sound nothing to dramatic.

Hey forum,

This is exactly what kind of noise that is coming from the front left side. Do you guys have any idea what this sound resonates (or at least have an idea of)?

Any help would be appreciated before I take it to my mechanic.

Well, per the comment under that video, he said it was just a loose rear shock bolt. (Maybe you should double check yours ) Also, is there any vibration as you drive, or any clunk sound as you brake? Lots of things this could be, but if it is truly as frequent and repeatable as you say, it should be rather easy to locate with a close inspection.

Check: sway bar end links and bushing mounts, shock tower bolts, UCA and LCA bolts, shock mount bolts, tie rod, lug nuts (including any wheel spacers), brake caliper bolts.

If this is an AWD model, you'll need to also check the drive-line.
