Metal Paint Pen for Brake Calipers?

Crazy question - feel free to flame...BUT...Has anyone used an industrial metal paint pen for painting their calipers? I found that Nissen sells gloss metal paint MARKERS with broad felt tips for permanently putting markers or letters on all sorts of metal including automotive metal. I was just curious to see if anyone has ever done it before and if so how did it turn out.

I haven't done it, but it seems like it would be extremely time consuming and awfully difficult to do it that way and achieve a nice finish. I'd think it would come out looking like crap.

Yeah, I did find some writes on using it - I'll just use the brush method.

VHT caliper paint will last about 2 years before flaking and looks pretty good.
I wouldn't paint base floating calipers any color other than grey/silver or black though.

Yeah - I'm going with black. I just don't want the ugly silver behind my black wheels. It's distracting since they're not sport brakes.
