Eibach springs and Eibach camber bolt kit
Eibach springs and Eibach camber bolt kit
I'm getting some eibach springs installed. And my tech told me the eibach camber bolt kit is the same dimension as stock and it wouldn't make difference by installing them. Can someone shed some light on this? Did I waste $70 on this kit? Thanks guys.
That's OK, your tech is misinformed, the bolt is the same size bolt but is offset in the concentric washer much more than the OEM bolt. The slot that the camber bolt slides in needs to be elongated so the new wider-range bolt can slide the full range. The kit should come w/ a template that you use against your existing slot and a dremel tool is your best bet for cutting out the slot. You should also have a toe bolt for eeach side, and this also requires elongating the OEM toe slot.
I'll move this to the proper folder & welcome to the site.

I got a 2011 g37 coupe IPL. I would like to go staggered with the wheels sitting at least somewhat flushed with the fender. I've got a budget of about $2500 for just wheels. Thanks. I appreciate all your responses.
Got a poker game calling my name but I'll get back to you tomorrow w/ some ideas.

Broke even, but was down a few hundred so I guess that's kinda like a win, lol.
As far as wheels on a $2500 budget. I'd consider a few of these options~
The Flow Formed SSRs are a nice wheel and are available in good offsets for your coupe
TreadDepot.com: SSR Wheels
I'd go w/ 19x8.5 5:1143 ET25 on 245/40/19 Front
19x9.5 5:1143 ET35 on a 275/35/19 Rear
These Wedsports are nice, and fit is a bit more conservative (less flush)
19x9 +35 and 19x10 +42 same size front tire but a 285/35/19 rear
Evasive Motorsports | PH: 626.336.3400 Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm PST: SA-67R
Center caps are extra
Evasive Motorsports | PH: 626.336.3400 Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm PST: Wedssport
These Work Kiwami wheels are another solid choice
Evasive Motorsports | PH: 626.336.3400 Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm PST: Work CR Kiwami
Sizes would be 19x8.5 5x114.3 +25offset front
19x9.5 +38 rear running the 245/275 tire sizes
There's so many styles to choose so an idea of what you're after would be a big plus

I love that bronze kiwami and the ssr's on the Z. I want to stick to 19's. maybe 19x10-10.5 in rear and 19x9-9.5 fronts. I want to stay away from spacers if possible, I don't know how safe or unsafe those are. Never used them before.
Also I came from a 06 Suby Sti. Pro tuned with lots and lots of tasteful mods. It was putting down around 330whp and about 390lbs of torque.

Always best to avoid spacers if possible, just another part added to the mix.
They have the Kiwamis in a super deep concave 19x10.5 +32 which will fit w/a 275/35/19 tire.

Combined w/ a 19x9.5 +38 Deep concave on 245/40/19 in front and that will be a nice aggressive look.
Those Kiwamis are my favorite wheel at that price range right now, wish I would have known about them when I was wheel shopping

I might just go with this. Only this is well there be rubbing issues. Also I don't want to stretch the tires. i just checked their website, they don't have the 19x9.5s.
