RWD G37/G37S rear sway on G37XS
In your other thread regarding OEM Mods, Ryne has confirmed that the RWD sway bar does not induce oversteer in the AWD G37...so you're probably good to go on that. I was hoping for more input, but 1 data point is probably a good indication.
Make sure you get the proper bushings and brackets that accompany the larger rear sway bar.
I am left wondering...if the stiffer rear bar doesn't induce oversteer...why did Infiniti go with the smaller one in the first place on the X?

I believe it was to create understeer. If I buy it used, It comes with bushing and the brackets are the same for all rear sways according to infiniti parts websites. So the install for the rear sway shouldn't take too long? What is needed exactly? Will I have to unbolt the muffler and lower the exhaust? What did you use to lubricate the bushings?
If you do, I'd suggest going under there and spraying some pb blaster to work on the nuts a week before you start. May as well hit every nut you think you may remove. Then hit them again 5 minutes before you start.
I struggled getting one of my mufflers back on, but in an ideal situation, an hour to do the rear is more than you'd need...depending on skill level and tools.
As for lube, I use the included silicone lube that Hotchkis provides. It's rather thick, viscous, and sticky. Clearly waterproof.
There is a thinner silicone grease that I will be applying regularly for maintenance. Black Betty suggested this silicone grease...Harbor Freight sells it.
