Stiffer is not always better, lol. I would definitely go medium setting up front and softest on the rear.

A piece of advice to you guys planning alignments...make sure the settings are even. The rears are the problem in most cases. I see a lot of people posting specs that are like 1.8/2.3 L/R, If 2.3 (or whatever, the numbers are made up) is the best you can get, have the other side set the same. You'll at least have uneven tire wear, and not uneven uneven tire wear. A lot of shops just max the camber out to get as close to spec as possible.

Koni Yellows don't fit the X, unless you go custom, and then you're deep into coilover price.

It could be the 75 pound W7 speaker/box in the trunk lol. Anyway, I was considering changing the rear setting to the most stiff, but you have me second guessing that now...
What do you have your Koni's set to?

3/4 of a full turn from the softest setting. I wanted it to feel as close to stock under normal driving (which it does) but still feel planted when turning (which it does).

I think it's just a heavy car that I need to get used to. My last car was a 2004 Accord Coupe which is about 400 pounds lighter, and felt it.

Doesn't a little negative camber help for handling?
FWIW - When I installed the Swifts I went to Firestone and paid $180 for their lifetime alignment deal. I've had four alignments in the last six months, soon to be a fifth so for me it was well worth it. After install, after strut replacement, after settling and after coil over installation. I've been traveling so my coils have settled and I want to raise the height a bit, once that's done I'll go back.

Full disclosure, I knew one of the techs there came highly recommended so I make certain that I always get on his hook sheet but it's good to have that option.

Gotta say that FXG37S and Lego had the right answer. Swaybars at stiffest with swifts definitely stiffened up the car more than needed for the best performance. I will put the rear sway to the middle setting to make things more neutral; I want it to still have some oversteer- just not as squirrelly as before.

I got the alignment done and now have -2 degrees camber all around, but everything else is in spec. Car does feel better compared to before.

I mentioned it in an earlier response- I have newer Hankook Ventus V12s, but they weren't the problem.

Thanks for everyone's comments and suggestions!

Glad things are going in the positive direction. -2' camber is right about the same I run on my car. It's prob the most aggressive one can get on a daily driver. With your mods alone, at their softest settings, you already have a substantial improvement over stock on a already good handling vehicle.
