Lifespan OEM Shocks and Springs

Hi everyone it's been awhile. Hoping for some insight about the average lifespan for the OEM Shocks and Springs. I have an '09 G37x sedan with 54k miles. Lately I've been hearing and feel allot of scraping during daily driving. The ride also seems to have gotten a bit bouncier and rough.

Looking into a full replacement of Fortune Auto Performance Coilovers and Swift Springs when it's time.

Thanks

You didn't say whether you're lowered or not, it's not listed in your vehicle info so I assume you're still stock suspension. The OEM shocks and struts should last 100k miles but that's a part that can vary greatly in lifespan depending on
how the vehicle is driven the conditions that the vehicle is subjected to, etc.

Hard to say what would be causing scraping sounds, there's a lot of moving parts in the suspension that could be the culprit there.

Thanks blnewt. Current configuration is stock.

I'd like to move into Fortune Auto's Generation 5-500 series dampers & Swift Springs

Endlinks can get noisy as could your sway bushings, upper control arm mounts as well
Those Fortune 500s seem to be the best option right now for you AWD guys, just be sure to get the camber/toe kits, especially the rear if you're dropping over an inch.
When you do get them on be sure to post your thoughts on teh review thread.
Thanks!
