Concept Z Performance 2-Piece Rotors

Hi all!

Did a little Black Friday shopping and bought the CZP 2-piece rotors for my '10 sedan.

I haven't installed them yet, that will come this weekend, but figured you wouldn't mind some pictures and verified weights:

Are those the 355mm front S rotors? If so that's about 8.5 lbs less than OEM.

Correct. I guess I forgot to mention that I have a 2010 S sedan.

I'll be installing the rotors, along with Hawk HPS pads, tomorrow so I'll toss up some more pictures then.

Okay, got the rotors and pads installed without issue today. Install was a snap and maybe took about an hour or so.

Bedded in the pads and the car felt good. My old fronts were warped so it is great not having any vibrations when decelerating quickly but I can't say that I feel a difference on the car. I'm sure there is a huge benefit, just can't feel 16lbs less on a 4,000+lb car

Not sure how much thickness was left on my stock rotors but here was what I weighed them at:

And the rotors on the car:

I'll have more pictures of the car in a few weeks once I get my new wheels PC'd and mounted...

Wow 8lb a corner should yield better mpg and acceleration performance. It might not be significant but a gain is a gain . Planning to do the rears too? Lol

Actually, I am. CZP doesn't make 2-piece rears so I'll be going with the Z1 Motorsports option but that won't be for at least a few months. Just got my Volks mounted so I need coilovers and then to get the wheels painted gloss black before I look into rear rotors.

RacingBrake makes 2-piece rotors for the rears. The stock Akebono rears are 20 lbs. each and the RB 2-piece rears weigh in at 16 lbs. each. The fronts are around 22 lbs. and they make a full kit for the car. I've been running those for 40k miles. The reduction in weight is significant but you won't see it translate to any increase in mpg or anything.

In for pics and more impressions after putting some miles on em.

Maybe he's overweight

OP: do you still have the box? Where were these made?

Sorry but I tossed the box a long time ago so I don't know where they make these.

After driving for a few months, I can't say I see a ton of difference. The pads make the biggest stopping difference but I'm sure that these coupled with full NA bolt-ons and additional weight savings would help you glean every last bit of performance you could without going custom parts or FI.
