The ride height of OEM sport springs vs OEM non-sport springs are the exact same. It's the firmer struts on the sports that makes it different.

I haven't had any issues since swapping out springs (and shocks). I even went over some speed humps at about 25-30 mph and didnt bottom out or scrap.

My concern is going to be getting an alignment to spec and not needing camber kits.

Also, I dont see why 370 springs wouldn't work, their shocks fit. There just isnt a knowledge base of what kinda drop you'll get.

This was very helpful! Thank you very much!

Lego_Maniac, I see that you have a G37S sedan. May I ask why you decided to replace the springs and shocks? And are the Koni shocks softer, about the same, or stiffer than the stock S shocks? That may be a hard answer since you replace both the shocks and springs at the same time. You say that you went over some speed humps fairly fast and didn't bottom out or scrape. But how would you describe the normal, every day ride feel compared to the stock setup when you first bought the car?

I had Swift's on my xS sedan. It was good at first, but quickly the ride quality degraded and anything other than perfectly smooth roads became bouncy and harsh. Handling was not confidence inspiring by any means. And I didn't like the raked look they provided my car with.

Instead of going back to stock, I instead opted to try coilovers, Fortune Auto 500's. Am very happy so far, although it does not ride as smooth as OEM suspension.

I think what the Swift's needed was an upgraded strut, which unfortunately does not exist for the all wheel drive models.

You could always try air if you got the coin...

anyone have pics of a stock height awd sedan with spacers?

My primary goal with springs was to reduce wheel gap. If that could be done with just spacers... oof. wish I'd tried that first!

Rochester: I ran steelies with no spacers over winter, looked ridiculous.

A little off topic, but could you post or pm me a side picture of your G on the M56S rims? I've found a couple of pictures online of G's on them but none that are quality pictures.

I have a g37 journey sedan lowered on Impul springs. .80 drop front and .25 drop rear. With these springs I hardly scrape anywhere. I am on stock 17's and plan on leaving it that way. I may just add 15mm spacers all around in the near future.

Hopefully one or all of these will meet your request.

Jethro, thank you. This was also very helpful. I do not want to go air. I'm planning on keeping the car for a long time so it wouldn't be a bad investment necessarily. I just don't want to mess with it. I've had my time playing. At this point, all I want is to make the car look good and ride as best as possible. I'd love to lower it just an inch to get rid of the wheel gap but I'm not convinced yet that an inch for aesthetic purposes is worth the sacrifice in ride quality. I'm still on the fence wanting to go the lowered route but know full well that I probably shouldn't. We'll see. I may try it and see. Thanks again!

I may give this decision some time and put some money into upgrading to the Sport front bumper. I prefer the sport bumper to the non-sport one for sure.

Perfect! Thank you! I've always loved the M56 wheels but had forgotten what it looked like on a G.

Note that the increased spring rates on the sport model have traditionally been supported by different dampening of the struts. As with the 1st generation G, the ride is night and day between the Sport and Journey models.

The problem is that there was so much know about the 1st gen, and so little known about the G37. Is this because we lost the ability to swap parts with the Z?

I think this one is a RWD/Spacers/No Drop: https://www.myg37.com/forums/picture...installed.html

Looks perfect to me.

you positive? My comparison showed a height difference, and this post as well shows it.
