Tanabe Springs front and OEM sport springs rear

Hi,

I saw a few topics where people install Tanabe Springs in front and leave the OEM sport springs in the rear.

I'm just wondering, if I did this setup, will it affect the handling negatively? will it cause any harm to the vehicle? what could happen with running different springs rate in front compared to the back?

The reason I'm looking to do this is, I really like the wheel gap in the rear, but I need to lower the front a little to match the rear wheel gap (even lowered car), so I find this combo to be perfect for me.

Thanks

I have them installed on mine. The ride quality is the same as stock and the car behaves exactly the same as stock. Go for it!

edit** heres another thread about them: https://www.myg37.com/forums/brakes-...37s-coupe.html

My problem with this is my rear is currently at 28 1/8" and the front is 28 3/4"

If i add the Tanabe in the front.... I'll be at 27" front and 28 1/8" rear.

Cant give you much info on an X coupe. Mine is rwd and the tannabe upfront made the front height slightly lower than the rears (raked look) but the look is way better than the stock stance.

Here my 08 g35s sedan with tanabe springs in the front and stock rear springs. I love the mild drop with the two combination.
