"Morse Code" like noise coming from wheels - bad bearings?
I’ve been experiencing a weird noise that’s coming from the frontpassenger wheels. It only happens intermittentlyat speeds excess of over 75+mph and emits a “morse code” noise. I originally thought it was just tire or roadnoise on my old set of wheels, but it’s still occurring on my new set.
My car has been lowered on springs before and now back tostock height. Does anyone know what thisproblem could be? Online researchsuggests that it’s possibility a wheels bearing going bad or something with theCV boot touching a line.

Thank you in advance.

I actually have noticed something similar to what you describe.
I would describe my issue as a whistle type noise, it does sound like morse code coming from my steering column. I was never able to pinpoint the exact location. It doesn't always occur for me at highway speeds, but when it does happen, it is in speeds above 70 mph.
Up until recently my car has been 100% stock. So I don't believe it's an issue with your suspension set up. (assuming it's the same sound/problem)
I honestly thought that it could be wind noise coming through a hole in the firewall. That was the only thing that made sense to me. I wonder if anyone else has had this issue?

Is it a high pitched or low pitched noise? Can you record it? Does happen on every road?
Some road surfaces result in noises. Concrete is generally one of the worst because of the small parallel grooves left when its settled. Asphalt isn't generally bad (it is rolled and very smooth) but depending on how it was laid and worn, some areas can cause cause strange noises.
Double check your tire pressures.

It's more of a high pitched noise that goes and in and out. I may be hearing it more around freeway curves when I am bending right. Occurs on asphalt and concrete.
I don't think it's possible for me to record because I just don't know when it's going ot happen. The dealership wants me to take it to them and have a tech sit in my car to hear it. They claim that a bad bearing would be heard at low and high speeds.

That depends. I once had some noises like that coming from the front as well, and only noticeable when the window is down in the parking structure.
It ended up to be a nail in the front tire
(luckily for me that didn't go all the way through)

A high pitched (frequency) noise is probably not the bearings. Not sure what else it may be.

I was able to find a video on youtube that sounds very similar to what I am experiencing. You can hear it starting at the 10 second mark
Video comments suggest that it's a windshield seal issue. Does that sound about right?

AMai1215 - I believe we have the same problem. I only seem to notice it maybe two day a month. It doesn't happen often, but when it does it's annoying. I suspected it was air leaking in from the firewall, it could be the windshield though.
I also own a recording studio and I mix records for some high profile artists, so one can say I have pretty good hearing. I honestly don't think the dealership will find the problem and my warranty just ran out as of 08/22/2014 so I'm going to live with it. If you discover the problem, please let me know.
