X sedan struts

I'll keep searching but so far I'm striking out. Here's my question, anyone have any recommendations for replacement front struts on a X sedan? Both mine are toast and the dealer isn't going to cover them. I just installed swifts and camber kits so I'd prefer to go Koni yellow but can't because X. Am thinking Tokico blue but can't find anything that fits because X. All I'm seeing is KYB or coilovers. Am I missing any brands you folks would suggest?

KYB's are the only ones that ive seen since i started looking around. One thing i have thought about doing is trying to get some front coilovers that will fit the swifts and have adjustable dampening then matching those with swifts and koni's in the back.

But i have other projects before i get to that.

I know KYB is the OEM supplier but not 100% sure that the ones for sale on the KYB site would be identical or an improvement
Anyone know??

I'm thinking that's all there is for us. I'll touch base with Adam tomorrow and if I find out different I'll report back.

I considered the same but I'm thinking if I go coilovers then I may as well go coilovers all around.

Too bad you went through the install only to find your OEMs were shot
Shouldn't have any problem selling the springs on site, those Fortune 500s look promising, too bad there's none already installed for feedback
If you can hang on for the short term it might be worthwhile to see how they run.

I was told by a vendor that try are "supposed" to be 10-15% stiffer, but they were not sure because there were no numbers to back that up

I also thinkin might go the fortune route, with the swift springs. Just waiting for some funds and my wheels to come in first...

According to KYB's website the Excel-G's are the recommended OE replacement for the X models. It doesn't say they are any better than what came from the factory.

Installed the KYB's with swift springs. I am 100% happy with look, not so much with the ride. I had the option of Monroe or KYB opted for KYB because i was told it was a bit sportier of a feel. They bottom out pretty easy and the car has some bounce. I went with a spring /shock combo on my Audi and didn't have these issues at all. I would not recommend the KYB. If they are OE equivalent it is in the lowest regard.
