Nismo 370 Suspension

Just wanted to throw this out there since I have not seen it done yet. I recently sold my KW V3's off my 6mt coupe and swapped a stock 370 nismo full suspension onto my car. If anyone has thought about doing this, do it. I actually prefer the feeling to my KW's. It's bumpy yes but it feels so good and tight in heavy cornering. I feel more confident for some reason in the corners and less up-settable. I still got a decent drop out of it since it's a diff set up, essentially the car looks like its on springs. nice and inexpensive suspension mod and I highly recommend it.

Did you just order the Nismo springs to mount on your OEM struts or did you get the whole strut/spring combo? How much drop did you end up with? Sounds like a viable option, please post some pics when you can.
Also if you have part #s that would be

How much drop and how much coin?

Very interesting approach to a suspension mod.

Would it essentially just be this? Or is there anything else you would need to make it work?

I took the entire suspension set up off the persons's 370 nismo. So I do not have the part numbers sorry, and it was free for me since part of the deal was swap for stock set up. I will get some pics up later today, I would say as an estimation about an inch or so drop. So when I say the full set up I grabbed struts and springs, rear camber piece.

It's a direct swap no needed parts it gen drops it's a quarter to half an inch. Guys did this on the g35 the drop comes from the spring rate difference and added weight

1/2" would be perfect. I don't lower cars, and have a big hump off the road into my driveway. Good point about added weight. The 370Z has a 3272 curb weight, so that's at least 430 pounds diff.

This is a very interesting idea.

Eibachs would still be way cheaper even with paying someone to install them. And they were made for the car. Not approved.

You're looking at this from a different POV. I see the 1/2" drop as an unintended and irrelevant side-effect of an improved suspension, not the purpose for it.

OP, I'd like to hear you describe in more detail how your car handles now. That Red Sedan in your garage album started life as a Journey or AWD, right? (re. front bumper) Is that the car you installed the NISMO Z suspension on? So when you upgraded your suspension, you had the non-Sport suspension to begin with?

...but this thread is in the Coupe forum.

The car will handle like stock but corner a little tighter the swap using z parts will also not mess with alignment like using eibach springs since they have such a huge drop rate

Interested in results. Would think, that they are not designed for a sedan, but due to the nature of the quality should still be quite the upgrade.
