Almost every car already has front and rear sway bars. You will have to remove them. The ones you bought are thicker so your car will sway less on turns. Most likely the ones you bought are adjustable, so you can make it less stiff if you find the ride too harsh. I recommend putting it at the stiffest setting in the front and medium/softest setting in the rear. I have the AWD version so it might be slightly different in adjustability than version you bought.

It looks like your fronts aren't adjustable but I would recommend keeping it medium setting (middle hole) in the rear.

You will also need a jack to keep the exhaust from dropping too low when you remove the old one/install the new one.

OP, I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter which brand aftermarket swaybars you get... they're all better than OEM.

I've got Eibach, which are a little more pricey because they have more settings that you can configure them to. Which I don't. I picked the common settings and never looked back. And the only reason I bought Eibach is because I was offered a great deal on a barely used set.

So in that context, if you're looking to save $50 here or there because of brand, focus instead on being patient for a FS thread where you can save that much and more.

^^^ This. These guys gave me the same advice and I'm glad I took it. It has saved me money and heart ache. People are constantly parting out or selling stuff. Just have to catch them before other do.

Also keep an eye on Amazon.

I got my Hotchkis set from them when it went down to $350 or so brand new, right from Amazon (2nd day shipping free because I had Prime, even for a big box like that)

Not as cheap as you could get a lightly used pair, but just another place to look.
