100% wrong, the evo has a 2 PC brembro rotors & pads to increase performance & has less weight than a 1 PC.

Less weight = better response.

I understand the concept; I was thinking along Black Betty's reasoning, but I guess 10 lbs is enough to make a difference.

These are not required for street cars. I can see the need if you are tracking your car on a regular basis and need better stopping and unsprung weight savings.
