2008 G35 rack and pinion

So I have an 08 g35 and my rack and pinion needs to be replaced. I was wondering if anyone knew if the g37 sedans had the same rack and pinions (or the first generation sedans).

And as far as replacing a rack and pinion, any advice/guides? Or tips?

Thanks

Perhaps call the parts dept and have them run the part #. My guess is they are very likely the same.

They appear to be the same part numbers, they differ if you have rear wheel steering.

Thanks for the info guys, ive been doing some research and im starting to think its the inner tie rod, but i got new tires a few days ago and the owner of the shop told me he thinks its the rack and pinion. I need to take of the wheel and see if there is any play in the inner tie rod to be sure.

I also talked to a infiniti dealer employ and he told me that left and right tie rods are different but i have a feeling he was talking out his ***, is there any truth to that?

The inner tie rods are the SAME left or right. The front outer tie rod ends differ just like the swaybar end links, the front struts, & the front control arms; there's a separate left and a right.
