Nisssan Akebono Vs Infinit Akebono
Yup, the xs has the non-sport brakes. Initial bite is probably slightly less than non-sport. The stock non-sport pads bite well, initially, but don't really have much past that. The HPS pads bite with slightly less impact, but stop progressively past that. Get on them, and it STOPS.
You'll see some negative reviews of the HPS pads around the web - don't believe them. People get fooled by the initial bite, and can't get used to the change in modulation you have to adapt to. I have no qualms with recommending them.
Since you're going to be in there, get a set of stainless lines. Helps pedal feel pretty dramatically. (KNS can get those for you too.)
Are you DIYing the install? I can give you a list of parts you need if so!

. No, i wont be DIYing this myself, will probably be bringing it to a friend whose a mechanic at shop to get everything done. I will probably be putting in some stainless steel lines and changing fluids as well. I wonder how the Goodridge SS lines compare to the Stoptechs SS lines. I like how the Goodridge lines have a lifetime warranty, thats always a plus :P.
