Help Groaning sound from Suspension
Groaning sound from Suspension
09 G37 Sedan - 48k miles with BC Coilovers, SPC Front Camber Kit, Hotchiks sway bar.
Recently starting getting a groaning noise from the front passenger side when turning the wheel on right turns. When it's driving straight I can't hear anything, when I turn the wheel to the right, the noise appears.
At first I thought it was the sway bars, so I re-greased them without luck. I've checked to make sure everything is tight. I can't find any leaks or grease, everything looks dry.
It sounds very mechanical, or at least not hydraulic from the power steering pump. I can reproduce the sound by turning the wheels slowly with the engine off.
Would stress on the end links cause this sound? How do I know if the end links have gone bad?
Any suggestions on what else I should be looking for?
Thanks for your help!
