Digging It!!!

The calipers look awesome, great job. I guess my only concern would be how they are going to hold up, without powder coating them. I know you have not had them on long, but was still curious how they are holding up.

They are holding up awesome so far. I get my car washed about once a week in the city and have put about 1,200 miles on them since painting them. I believe there are many guys on the Forum who have rattle canned their Akebonos and they are holding up great years later.

Nice quality man. I think I might go with either a light blue, or red. Haven't decided yet. But that's later to come.

Painting mine red today but was wondering did u have to bleed the system after taking them out? I did my passenger sides on the car really wish i can remove them, this is primered only

I did bleed them as I removed them completely to paint. It is pretty easy to do especially when you have a buddy come over and he can push the brake down. You just unbolt everything and let the brake fluid drip out into a bowl. I then went to the store and purchased new fluid and bleed the system until she was stopping on a dime.
