I have 2 sport model Gs and I'm pretty sure that the braking improvement over the regular brakes isn't a couple grand worth from having driven other peoples' Gs..
The wheels look nice but calipers look ugly IMO...the its looks like ALL rotor and no caliper, no good sir :/

I agree with "your" wife...and you!

Looks much better than stock.
I was thinking about doing mine, but not sure if I should since I'm leasing.

I was wondering if I just get the decals and put them on the bare caliper...would that look ok?

I know that the decals can withstand the heat...I had my IS300 calipers painted with G2 and didn't clear-coat over the decals and they were fine for 3 years.

Thinking of getting these in black

Unpainted, dragion? Then no, that would not look OK. (IMO)

I think it's these 5-spokes that give way too much space to look at the rotors and calipers. Either way, it's certainly better painted with the logo than otherwise. Newt gets compliments all the time on these, so I'd guess yours is the first knock he's received. But the thing about opinions is that we're entitled to have bad ones.

That looks way better painted over stock. I don't see how anybody could really think they look worse. Maybe if they were painted some flamboyant color, but you cant go wrong with black or silver.
