Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can buy good looking brake calipers. I have an 09 g37x.

Get the Akebono's (Infiniti's sport brakes)

Please don't buy cheap brake covers from eBay.

OEM ones are the easiest to install.

I'd be more concerned with how they perform over how they look.

You could always paint your stock calipers to help with looks. A nice black or silver color would improve the looks a bit.

But Akebono is a nice upgrade, which I will probably do on my xS someday.

Keep in mind that you may need to change wheels if you upgrade to larger brakes. But it is all worth it IMO. The stock brakes do a tremendous job of hauling down a heavy car in a hurry. There is a few vendors that offer the entire kit with everything you need to convert to "s" brakes for under $1500.

Stupid? Really? Don't you think that's a little over the top? And I'm pretty sure blnewt would disagree with your opinion, although I can't speak for him.

What I can do is re-post his brake pictures. Sure, they're conspicuously small compared to the Akebono BBK, but it doesn't get any more clean looking than this.

If you keep it subtle it enhances the look, just don't go w/ loud colors, really don't want to draw much attention to base calipers
Here's a current pic of the back brakes

Here's an old pic of the fronts, please ignore the headlight overlays and wheels as they've been vaporized since

Those look 1000% better than the unfinished metal of the regular OEM brakes. OP asked for something better looking and not about upgraded performance so if this is what he's after he can save himself a couple thousand bucks over buying a BBK if he mostly wants to improve the look a little. I have 2 sport model Gs and I'm pretty sure that the braking improvement over the regular brakes isn't a couple grand worth from having driven other peoples' Gs..

I'm particularly entertained how I beat him to posting his rims, on the assumption that he'd do exactly that very same thing.

Even more so that he did it right after me, and still didn't notice.

That's funny as hell John, just got home for a quick break and saw that.
In a perfect world I'd love to be able to pony up a couple grand for a BBK, but gotta make do w/ what I have, and you're right BB, they stop pretty good for bone stockers

They absolutely do. I can't tell any difference between the small brakes and the big brakes, other than the assumption that the big brakes can handle track abuse.

You're slow, B. LOL

Good thing since I don't have big brakes to slow me down if I was fast like you
