lol

GTSpec does help with keeping the wheels to road! I have

GTSPEC Front 2 Points Subframe Reinforcement Brace
GTSPEC Front Subframe Tie Brace (L+R)
GTSPEC Front Strut Brace
GTSPEC Rear Lower Tie Brace

Yes after I added all that was able to take turns faster and the body roll is less then before. Yes I tested this before my K.W or Eibach!

The front Subframe Tie Brace helps with offline acceleration! as it helps keep the body flexing! no it's not in my head as I tested before and after!

I bet your car N/A against mine N/A with your intake and CBE would not beat me on a drag.

I wish you come to Z-days haha.

Haha..I may just take you up on that I'll check with the shop schedule. It's a short drive for me to zdayz.

I can guarantee you I put down more power and significantly lighter... At least 200lbs or more. After I had my car dyno'd and tuned I was very happy. With my mods my IPL put down more than 2012 Nismo, with gen 3's, test pipes, and FI exhaust. JDM FTW!

Even at over 300whp N/A, now I'm used to driving it and the car feels slow again. I do have a problem getting bored with cars and modifying. Hopefully my new GTM stg 2 kit will fix that... We'll see.

Maybe we can run the airstrip.

Hahah!! yes I would love that! I have already paid the $145 for the event!

I know what you mean far as getting bored as I have had 08 NISMO 350, 2010 370z and now G37 all within last 4 years! I had just stayed with one car I would be F.I right now on one of them.

I will PM you my cell

jeesus, you just zinged the crap out of GTLAW in the other thread lol. (i knew about the v1s and the bought badge but i chose to keep my mouth shut :X)

suspension is quite hard to compare especially when one is r&d'ed in Europe and the other is r&d'ed in Japan. and ESPECIALLY if one is not damping adjustable lulz. still, imo, ipl370gt would win the race. light wheels are light

I don't mean to hijack this thread...First off my congratulations on a great post with pictures and a really nice and clean mod. My questions is with these coil-overs and stock 19" xS coupe wheels; What size wheel spacers do you recommend? I was considering 15mm DRS in the front and 20 DRM in the rear with H & R. Thank you for your help. By the way what does Top Secret do to the parts? I was also considering Coil-overs from Standard suspension cause they're made in my province, Quebec and all 4 are $1400 list cdn.

^ Still going at it huh?

We get it, your kwv1 are "better" than his amazing Aragosta TS coils. Can you just let it go now?

GTLAW-
You must stop your stalker like behavior immediately. Everyone can have their opinion even if its stupid or against conventional wisdom or in your case regurgitated crap you copy and paste in a futile effort to make some convoluted point that only you understand (I'm fairly certain you don't either). But you need to give it up because its harassing at this point. It seems like you have an unhealthy obsession with crapping on these coilovers for some reason. Each successive post you make in this thread is more disjointed and nonsensical than the last. Just stop. Don't post in this thread again. Don't post anything harassing or stalker like in any of the OPs other threads either. Period.

Really GTLAW ... again? GTFO!

Aragosta coilovers are reassembled for Topline Aragosta in Japan. They use the finest components from around the Globe, including Swift springs made in The US. As I previously mentioned they're revalved to meet Top Scerets and other Japanese tuners needs. What you're paying for is a completely custom coilover system. The difference is KW uses many of the same part numbers for completely different vehicles. Look at the differences between the 370z/G37.

I have owned both the V3 and the Aragosta TS. I'm not assuming these things.
The KW V3 is a superior system compaired to most. The dampining and rebound transition on the Aragosta has an edge in my honest opinion.

As I mentioned before ...

Top Secret's coilover suspensions are legendary in Japan as they've been behind the top cars in all forms of competition. Cars running Top Secret's coilovers have racked up awards and series wins in: D1GP, Time Attack, Super Taikyu, Drag Racing, March Cup and Top Speed. Even some Nismo race cars. Aragosta developed some history with the R32 and R34.. I think your "research" falls a little short GTLAW. Maybe hit the books or Google again. Less copy and paste.

These coilovers are praised and also very popular on the GTR boards.

The secret behind the success of Top Secret's coilovers: a potent mix of World Class dampers produced by Aragosta, complete one-off tuning/re-valving done by Smoky Nagata himself based on the unique specs of each car. Making this system completely custom to the tuner request. The spring rates are also custom to the needs and yes, produced by SWIFT. SWIFT make amazing springs, many G37 owners run them and report extremely happy results.

The KW systems use the same technology for many cars. The 370z and G37 share the same part numbers, but the cars have completely different suspention needs. The G is a fat girl compared to the Z and needs an entirely different spring rating valve setting.

GTLAW owns the KW v1. The V1 system is Pre-set non-damping system. Not to be confused with the real coilovers. The KW V3 is a more adequate competitor to Aragosta systems. The KW v1 is a street coilover and isn't intended for track abuse. Both Aragosta and KW V3's are (race coilovers) with a happy medium. Aragosta also uses forged aluminum technology and forged cylinder. The Argosta is significantly lighter than the KW V3.

After owning both systems I can accurately say, while the KW is an amazing system, The Aragosta rebound clearly sets it apart. I wouldn't Classify one as the "better" system, as I stated before in my testings... Top Secret had an edge over the KW V3.

Aragosta isn't " also known as" Top Secret like stated in your subject line. Aragosta Topline makes many coilvers to competition specifications for Zele, Top Secret, Midori Seibi and many more.

clearly you didn't read my response or Jeremy's?! Your behavior is ridiculous. Do I understand "coilover design"? You didn't read my reply!

If someone is interested in running any track events rebound and compression is VERY important. Even for autocross!

Yes, GTLAW give it a rest. Do I need to post the numerous PM's from you asking for help with your KW V1's? I have 5. Or the PM's from you asking to buy my Top Secret intakes? You also PM'd and wanted to buy rAiN's Top Secret intakes a couple weeks ago But NOW you would "Never buy anything Top Secret"

GTLAW on 4/2/2013 you created a thread bashing all aftermarket intake systems. This was almost immediately after both rAiN and myself turned away your low-ball offers to buy our intake systems. Ironically just yesterday you posted on the V36 FB page numerous videos, pictures and info of your "new" Stillen G3 and how awesome it is.

I really don't see how your contributing to this forum... At all!? Knocking peoples ad's in the marketplace and your random temper tantrums. How is this helpful to a potential buyer looking for an honest review of a top quality system?
