Stop tech pads

So I made it almost 2 weeks owning my car before i had to upgrade something. I am so weak......

Installed them yesterday and bedded them. (hard to do near d.c on inoguration weekend when the speed limit is only 45 and you have to go 60) The diffrence is nothing short of phenomonal.

best street pads for any car imo...i've had those on both a civic and m3 and they are amazing...great initial bite, followed by good braking power

Do you know the actual pad? is it the street performance?
are these the stock numbers for them?

front: 309.13460
rear: 309.13470

do they fit in the stock calipers?

thank you I am interested in buying these same type of pads which is why I am asking.

what model is your car? mine is 2008 G37S coupe.

I was planning on picking the pads up shortly as well. Would it be fine with the stock rotor on a G37X Sedan?

They are indeed great pads, but they put out an ungodly amount of dust. I can go from hyper silver to gunmetal wheels in a couple of weeks.

The dust is easy to wash off, however.

Agreed, I have them as well... and they kick out some serious dust.

How would you say they compare to Hawk HPS?

hawk hps are easily the worst street pads i've ever had...i've probably had about 10 different ones as well...ranging from hawks, stoptech, centric (same company as stoptech), brembo (made by ferodo), ferodo, pagid, and pfc

Hey guys I have decided on Stop Tech Street Performance brake pads for both the front and rear. I have a 09 G37xS but cannot determine the specific part number for both the front and rear pads! Looked on rock auto.com and think I found the right one but just want to make sure before buying!

Can you elaborate? I had Hawks and really liked them. But my opinion is simply comparitive to OEM Mazdaspeed pads.

Really interested in Stoptech now, but would love to hear more of a comparison.

You didn't mention whether you had a coupe or sedan. XS coupe also comes with Akebono BBK, whereas sedan does not.

Coupe XS:
Front - 309.13460
Rear - 309.13470

Sedan XS:
Front - 309.08880
Rear - 309.09050

its only the hawk hps that are bad, the initial bite is almost nothing and they don't have a lot of stopping power until they are heated up (normal street driving won't do this). in addition the pedal feel is horrible, it feels completely dead.

if you want to stick with hawk brand pads for the street, the hawk ceramics are pretty good...i'd say about 85-90% of the stoptechs, but with less dust (stoptechs dust a ton)
