GTSpec Strut Brace Installed

Received and installed the GTSpec Strut Brace. Have yet to drive the car since installing. Don't expect any major improvement. None-the-less... Before/after pics below.

I have the same and it looks better than it performs. A better bang-for-the-buck are the upgraded sway like the Hotckis.

Well I did find that it does change the feel of the car ever so slightly. It definitely seems like you can point the car more and it goes to where you point it more accurately than just with the Hotchkiss sways which I also have. Yes it's subtle but I can feel it and it also seems to stiffen things up a little as well. Not sure I like that part but I'll find out soon this Friday at Sonoma Raceway (Sears Point/Infineon). This should be interesting while on street tires.

You should tuck those wires away.

You will not feel anything unless you preload the bar. So you installed the bar with wheels off the ground.

Having the wheels off the ground won't effect anything. A strut brace is more of an engine bay chassis brace that attaches at the strut locations.

A bit of a drive from Houston via Iraq. However I'm going to try to make next year's HRE open house.
