Are any of you guys running a camber kit with your coils to get the alignment right so the tires don't wear? Or do coils not need them?

Doesn't matter whether you're dropped on springs or coilovers, if you go beyond a certian point, about an inch or so lower, your geometry goes out of whack and the camber becomes out of spec. It all depends on how low you go, whether you need a camber kit or not. I'd imagine you plan on going low enough to where you'll need camber kits. The rear has minimal adjustment from the factory and none in the front. With Eibachs I'm out of spec in the front, but just slightly and camber wear will be minimal and the rear is in spec, but I have an SPC kit in the rear because I knew I'd be going to coilovers eventually.

I'm running tein basic on my g37s coupe along with spc camber kit and stillen front and rear sways. Ride is stiffer than stock but manageable, you do notice the smaller bumps in road. Did the install myself and then took it to a shop to get it aligned. Also, on the rear SPC kit I did not widen the rear toe bolt hole like the kit says to. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase, I have the coils set to the lowest recommended setting and the only time I have ever bottomed out was when I slammed a pot hole going 30mph. I don't have any problems going over speed bumps, but watch out for curbs when your parking.

I hope this helps you out. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I recently put on the tein ssp coilovers and front and read spc camber kits. I have no complaints what so ever and wouldn't think about switching. I was torn between the tanabes and Stance because I wanted the adj dampers for arounnd 1k but my shop convinced me to spend another couple hundred and get the tein's and am so glad I did.
