Broke front SPC kit

Something bad happened.
Pulling into my driveway this morning I heard an usual sound that came from my front driver side wheel well. (like loose metal rubbing). Jacked my car up and found that my upper control arm from my spc camber kit, snapped in half.

Not to mention that I've had to lift the car to tighten the front passenger one twice already because it comes loose

I had the kit installed at a local shop a little less than a year ago but I cant find the damn receipt.

Soooo, could someone tell me what my options are? Will spc cover it? Is it possible/safe to get it welded back together???? I have no idea lol

Thanks in advance

damn! you're the 2nd person i've heard this happened except the other guy was his rear arm that snapped in half.

you should take pic's and send them to spc, they might send you a new one.

+1. I have heard of a few people having this problem. they might be aware and if it's a recent part that you added to your car they may cover it.

worth a shot

You should take them off. The SPC arm is a half-**** front camber solution IMO. It wasn't even designed for the G37 (assuming you are using what is being shipped as G37 application), it just happened to fit..up to a point. I took off my set, and about to take rear off. No offense to others that use it, but imagine that part failing at freeway speeds....

Whether they cover it or not isn't the issue IMO. It's the failure that concerns me.

OP. Post pics of failed part. Interested to see if it was brittle or ductile failure.

I'll post pics soon. Thanks for the input gentlemen... Wondering what I should do if I'm lowered though? I was eating up my tires and having to replace them every few months before the camber kit

It's not going to make a drastic difference in my opinion. I am slammed and I don't run the front kit at all. I am at -1.8 camber in front, but I am sure most are not as low as I am. So therefore the camber won't be nearly as much. The tire wear and look is fine. I only run a rear camber kit because of my tire and offset sizes to avoid rubbing. I used to use the fronts but I stopped after hearing all the problems with noises and breaking, so I took off and can't even tell the difference.

Based on what I've read, as long as toe is within spec, your tire wear will be alright....even if your camber is out of spec.

Using this solution is a safety-tire wear trade off.

So for everyone running OEM A arms with negative cambers, how many miles have you been running on your tires?

When I was running on negative camber, my tires were done after 2-3k miles. Looked like this:
