Love showing off my new car and having my friends wonder why my brakes sound like that...

New brakes and rotors will fix the problem. Mine never does it after that haha.

Its only for a short bit, just tell your friends you have racing brakes on it because it is so fast. LOL

Would you mind sharing what pads and rotors you specifically got?

1.5 yrs with 17k miles and I don't have the reverse brake squeal on the 2010 G. However, it happens on the 08 M35 though.

Had the same issue from 5 - 20K.. got tired of it(dealership could not fix it) and fixed the problem. Currently at 60k and no Brake squeal in reverse for 40k.

Apply Following... on all 4 corners of the metal backing plate of the pad and in between the shims .... also a thin layer on top of the shim's where it makes contact with the piston.

And presto no NOISE.

Got my 08 2 weeks ago with 43k miles and it does that too, only in the mornings when I back out of the driveway, not all the time though,
